We’re glad you’re interested in our product! That also means you care about dogs — and together we can help improve the lives of dogs around the world.

By purchasing our product, you take the first step toward a new everyday life with greater security and better insight into your dog’s well-being. Before acquiring Lildog, we ask that you carefully read the terms governing the use of the product and the service. These terms are designed for two main purposes: to ensure that you are informed about the product and your rights as a customer, and to protect our rights as a company.

Lildog AS is the manufacturer and owner of the Lildog® brand. This means that Lildog AS is responsible for all aspects of the Lildog service. All communication related to Lildog® is therefore subject to Lildog AS as the official legal contact for the service. For more detailed information, please refer to the section on Intellectual Property Rights.

By accessing or using the Lildog service, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions.

Overview

The Lildog device can be configured, monitored, and controlled through the Lildog app. Please note that the product/device will not function without the Lildog app.

When “we”, “our”, or “us” is used below, it refers to Lildog AS. When “the Lildog service” is used, it refers to the Lildog mobile application, the Lildog device, or both.

The Lildog device is designed to be worn by a dog and used by the dog’s owner.

What is Lildog?

Lildog is a product that attaches to a dog’s collar or harness. The product provides accurate location tracking and information about the dog’s well-being.

To use the service, you must download the Lildog app on your smartphone. The app is free of charge and available for iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play. For a complete overview of the device and app features, please refer to the app description or the Lildog product page.

Lildog is a fully Norwegian-developed product, meaning it is designed and produced in Norway. This allows us full control over the entire production process, providing you as a user with additional security and reliability.

When You Purchase the Product

Several laws regulate and protect your rights when purchasing goods online, including the Contract Act, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, the Marketing Control Act, the E-commerce Act, and the Digital Services Act. These rights are mandatory and apply regardless of these terms.

When purchasing from our website, you may pay by debit card or Vipps (the latter available in Norway only). Immediately after completing your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation sent to the email address you provided. Delivery time is typically 3–5 business days.

As a customer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase without providing a reason within 14 days of receiving the product. The product must be returned in the same condition as when received. When exercising the right of withdrawal, the amount paid will be refunded to the account from which the payment was originally made. The customer is responsible for covering return shipping costs.

Defective or Non-conforming Service

If the product or service does not function as described, you are entitled to request correction, a price reduction, or termination of the agreement in accordance with the Digital Services Act. Any defects will be remedied within a reasonable time and at no additional cost to you.

Updates and Changes

We continuously work to improve the product and service and therefore provide free updates for both the device and the app. If you have enabled automatic updates on your device, no action is required to ensure you are always using the latest software.

Some updates may be necessary for the service to function as described. If an update results in a material change to the functionality that is to your disadvantage, you are entitled to terminate the agreement.

Privacy and Data Processing

The Lildog device collects and transmits data in accordance with our privacy policy, including location data. This detailed data collection and usage is essential for the proper operation of the Lildog service.

As a user, you have the right to request access to the data we store about you, as well as request correction or deletion of personal data in accordance with GDPR and the Digital Services Act.
